Get started with Tickloop.

The command-line agent runs in your terminal and connects to local programs, commands, and Ticks. Install, connect a model, and begin.

Ways to install

macOS

$ brew install tickloopai/tap/tickloop

Or use the native installer:

$ curl -fsSL https://tickloop.ai/install.sh | sh

$ cargo install --locked tickloop

Cargo downloads and verifies the complete official program during installation. Ready to run when installation finishes; application source remains private.

For Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Linux

$ curl -fsSL https://tickloop.ai/install.sh | sh

Or use Homebrew:

$ brew install tickloopai/tap/tickloop

$ cargo install --locked tickloop

For ARM64 and x86_64. Static builds run on glibc and musl distributions.

# Start the Agent, then connect a model in /provider
$ tickloop
# Update your installation
$ tickloop update

Current releases support macOS and Linux. Native, Homebrew, and Cargo launcher installations can update in the background and include the short command tl. Add Herdr to view Ticks side by side.
